As a bioengineer, Suzannah has technical expertise in a wide variety of topics within biotechnology and medical devices. Through her education and research experience, Suzannah has had the opportunity to apply and communicate complex topics, as well as collaborate with researchers and stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds.
Suzannah's experience also includes prosecution and preparation of both domestic and international patent applications, patent due diligence, patentability analysis, and strategic portfolio development.
Suzannah earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in bioengineering from the University of Washington. This background has given her a strong knowledge base in the development and function of medical technology ranging from diagnostic imaging to targeted drug delivery. She worked on her thesis in collaboration with Seattle Children's Research Institute, where she engineered nanoparticle vaccine antigens to combat malaria.
